Man found with 1 980kg dagga

Johannesburg - A 44-year-old man was arrested after he was found in possession of almost R2m worth of dagga, Drakensberg police said on Monday.
Captain Ursula Roelofse said the man was arrested at a roadblock between Cala and Engcobo around 10:30 on Sunday.
"They discovered 60 bags of dagga (1 980kg) to the value of R1 980 000," said Roelofse.
She said the man was on his way to Port Elizabeth at the time of his arrest.
He was expected to appear in the Cala Magistrate's Court on Monday.
