Neighbourhood watch man shot

Cape Town - Two men shot dead a member of the Mitchells Plain neighbourhood watch on Sunday night, Cape Town police said.
Captain Randall Stoffels said: "At about 8.10pm, Abduraghman Sydow, 48, was fatally wounded at a house in Leander Street, Lentegeur, near Mitchells Plain, when shots were fired by two unknown men on foot."
Sydow was a member of the Mitchells Plain neighbourhood watch.
"The deceased sustained two bullet wounds to his stomach, one to his chest and died on the scene," said Stoffels.
The motive for the crime was unknown but all possibilities were being investigated.
There have been no arrests as yet.
