Taxi crash claims two

Cape Town - Two women died and 16 people were injured when a taxi overturned on the N1 in the Western Cape, police said on Sunday.
Captain Randall Stoffels said the taxi driver lost control of the vehicle as it passed Century City in Maitland, on Saturday.
"The taxi over-turned a number of times before landing in a ditch," he said.
The women, both aged 30 and both from the Dunoon informal settlement, died later in hospital, said Stoffels.
He said the injured were taken to various hospitals in Cape Town.
