Man tries to break his own neck Taxi crash claims two Driver, 101, in four-car pile-up

Johannesburg - A minibus taxi driver was killed and 11 passengers seriously injured in a collision with a truck on the N12 in Benoni early on Friday, Ekurhuleni metro police said.

Superintendent Vusi Mabanga said taxi passengers said the taxi had hit the truck at 04:00.

"Jaws of life had to be used to free the trapped passengers including the dead taxi driver."

One lane was closed to traffic for more than three hours and a case of culpable homicide was opened.
