Man dies after hippo attack Hippo attacks woman in Limpopo

Johannesburg - A young hippo has become an attraction at the KwaZulu-Natal coastal town of St Lucia since she decided to graze on grass near holiday apartments, SABC radio news reports.

Named Sandy by residents, the creature had so far resisted attempted to be captured.

Conservation authorities have warned that although she appeared tame, people should treat Sandy as a dangerous, wild animal.
