Johannesburg - Ekurhuleni metro police chief Robert McBride has been granted an extension to file papers opposing a restraining order granted to three suspended metro police officers, the SABC reported on Tuesday.
McBride was expected to file papers on Tuesday. The officers claim to have been at the scene when McBride crashed his car last December and that McBride allegedly instructed them to clear the scene and take him away.
Police have confirmed they are investigating the three suspended metro officers for alleged involvement in cash heists and car theft, SABC reported.
