Man held in CT for cash heist

Johannesburg - A man in was arrested in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, on Thursday night for his alleged involvement in a cash-in-transit heist, Western Cape police said on Friday.
Captain Randall Stoffels said the robbery occurred on Monday afternoon on the R44 Road toward Wellington in Klapmuts.
"Two Fidelity Security officials were robbed by a group of unknown armed men, who stole cash bags containing an undisclosed amount of money and two 9mm pistols."
He said the men had rammed into the security van with a Mercedez Benz, causing the van to roll onto its side.
The man is due to appear in the Paarl Magistrate' s court on Monday on a charge of armed robbery.
