Robbers hold up McDonald's

Johannesburg - Six armed robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of money after holding up staff and customers at McDonald's in Fourways, Johannesburg police said on Tuesday.
Spokesperson Captain Cheryl Engelbrecht said the incident happened at the Fourways Boulevard McDonald's on Monday night.
"They took an undisclosed sum of money from the tellers. Customers were also robbed of their money and jewellery," she said.
No shots were fired.
The robbers drove off in a blue Hyundai.
Engelbrecht could not confirm if the matter was linked to another incident at the weekend where two people were injured during a robbery at a McDonald's on the West Rand.
"We will look at all possibilities," said Engelbrecht.
