ATM blown up, no cash taken ATM bombed in Soweto Campus ATM blown up

Johannesburg - An automated teller machine was blown up in Fochville near Carletonville on Friday, North West police said.

Captain Adele Myburgh said a Standard Bank ATM was blown up at midnight, at the President Hyper Shopping Complex.

No money was taken from the ATM and the machine was slightly damaged.

Commercial explosives were used for the blast.

Police have opened a case of malicious damage to property and illegal possession of explosives.
