  • Bloemfontein - ANC Deputy President Jacob Zuma arrived at the Supreme Court of Appeals in Bloemfontein on Tuesday morning in a black Mercedes 4x4 amid blue lights and police sirens.

Zuma, wearing a grey suit, was ushered into the court by a handful of bodyguards.

The National Director of Public Prosecutions is appealing a Durban High Court judgment declaring five search warrants, used to seize documents from Zuma and his lawyer Michael Hulley, illegal.

The outcome of the appeal would determine whether or not the National Director of Public Prosecutions will charge Zuma and French arms company Thint for corruption relating to South Africa's multi-billion rand arms deal.
