Johannesburg - Police say three men in the Mpoza municipality in Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape have been arrested on Thursday for the murder of two men who they alleged had used witchcraft to kill their parents.
Spokesperson Mduduzi Godlwana said a 79-year-old man had been shot in the stomach and the back and a 31-year-old had been shot once on the neck.
"The men, who are brothers, admitted to killing the two and burning down their house," said Godlwana.
He said two cartridges of 9mm pistols were found on the scene and they also confiscated an unlicensed firearm allegedly used for the murders.
The three brothers are to appear in the Lusikisiki Magistrate's Court soon.
