Johannesburg - Another decomposed body of a woman was found in the sugar cane fields surrounding Umzinto's Shayamoya township, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Sunday.
Superintendent Zandra Hechter said the body was discovered on Saturday when police were busy with their investigations in the area.
This brings the total number of bodies found in the fields to ten since September this year.
"There is a possibility of other bodies in the fields," said Hechter.
The body would be sent for DNA tests and police were continuing with their search.
Police initially arrested five people, three women and two men, in connection with the murders.
Two were later released and two men and a woman appeared in the Umzinto Magistrate's Court on charges of abduction and murder last week.
Another 27-year-old man from Inanda was formally charged on Friday and was expected to appear in the Umzinto Magistrate's Court on Monday.
