Zoo lake restaurant robbed

Johannesburg - A group of armed robbers held up a staff member - and fled with an undisclosed amount of money - at Moyo restaurant at the Zoo Lake in Johannesburg, police said on Friday.
Police spokesperson Julia Claasen said that on Thursday night, one of the robbers went into the restaurant, sat at the bar and ordered drinks.
She said: "His accomplices then went in after him and placed themselves strategically in the restaurant, before ordering drinks."
Claasen said the man at the bar pulled out a firearm and demanded money from the bartender.
"The robbers fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money ," said Claasen.
She said no shots were fired during the robbery and none of the customers nor the other staff members noticed that a robbery had taken place.
Claasen said police were still searching for the robbers.
