Johannesburg - Three men were arrested in Linksfield for speeding and using a laser jammer, Ekurhuleni metro police said on Sunday.
Spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng said the suspects, aged between 22 and 45, were arrested in the early hours of the morning.
"Two offenders were doing 191km/h and 194km/h in a 120km/h zone. "The third one was arrested for having an illegal device (laser jammer) installed in both his registration plates," said Mokheseng.
He said the third suspect, driving a gold Porsche Cayenne special utility vehicle, was charged for defeating the ends of justice and his vehicle was impounded.
The other two were charged for reckless or negligent driving.
They would all appear in the Germiston Magistrate's Court on Monday.
A laser jammer is a device that prevents speed cameras from reading number plates.
