Elderly couple beaten to death

Cape Town - A couple was stabbed to death on Sunday in Mossel Bay, Western Cape police said on Monday.

Spokesperson Ntobeko Mangqwengqwe said Charlotte de Jager, 30, and Duvan Lennerds, 26, were stabbed at De Jager's house in Asla Park at 03:00.

The murderers gained access to the house after breaking the door.

The couple were stabbed several times.

Mangqwengqwe said police were looking for Ebrahim Hannie, who they believed could be of assistance to them in the case.
