Motorcyclist dies in crash

Johannesburg - A motorcyclist died when he hit a light pole cutting it in half, on Constantia Road, Roodeport, paramedics said on Saturday.
"The accident occurred in when the man lost control of his bike, and hit a light pole, cutting it in half...he was found dead at the scene," said ER24 spokesperson Riana Beech.
She said that the identity of the man was not known at this stage, and police were still investigating the accident.
The road was not closed, but motorists were asked to exercise caution.
