Half-naked body found in ditch

Nelspruit - A half-naked body of a 24-year-old woman was found in a ditch at Balfour in Mpumalanga on Monday morning, police said.
Superintendent Abie Khoabane said the woman's body was discovered by children who were playing close to the ditch at about 08:10.
"We suspect the woman was stoned to death because police discovered stones covered in blood about 15cm from the body. Her head was crushed.
Khoabane said three used condoms also were found next to the body.
"This brought further suspicion that she might have been raped," he said.
No arrests have been made.
