2 killed by racing vehicle

Durban - Two people in a stationary car were killed on Friday night when two racing cars allegedly smashed into them in Durban, paramedics said on Saturday.
Netcare911 spokesperson Chris Botha, said the incident took place along Fischer street in Waterfall late on Friday night.
It is alleged that a Toyota Tazz and a 1400 bakkie had been racing along the road when one of the vehicles crashed into a stationary car on the road.
One person from the car was flung out and died at the scene. A second person burnt to death when the car burst into flames.
Botha said another five people were injured.
KwaZulu-Natal transport department spokesperson Zinhle Mngomezulu, said she did not have details of the accident.
