Boy, 3, sees dad gunned down Driver beaten after fatal crash ATM bombers shoot at motorists

Johannesburg - A smash-and-grabber has been shot dead by the motorist he attacked in Boksburg, police said on Saturday.

Captain Mack Mngomezulu said the smash-and-grabber broke the man's window and took his cellphone at the Rondebult Road off-ramp on the N17 on Friday afternoon.

The motorists chased his assailant to Beit Street in Farrar Park.

"The suspect then dropped the cellphone, the victim picked it up and continued chasing after him. He then shot him and returned to his vehicle."

The man died at the scene.

Mngomezulu said police were still searching for the driver of the white Volkswagen Citi Golf.
