10 die in Cape crash

Cape Town - Seven adults and three children died after a taxi minibus collided head-on with a car in Cape Town, ER24 said on Monday.
Paramedic Dane Cleenwerck said a taxi carrying four people collided with a car occupied by 11 people on Potsdam Road near the Dunoon informal settlement at about 22:30 on Sunday.
Cleenwerck, who attended to the injured, said nine people died on scene, among them a three-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy.
"There were many entrapments and it took about two hours to get the body of the driver of the sedan out of the vehicle."
Two men, a woman, a 12-year-old girl and a four-year-old girl were severely injured injuries and were transported to hospital.
"The four-year-old girl is orphaned, both her parents died in the accident."
