N3 closed after collision

Durban - The N3 north and southbound freeway between Harrismith and Montrose was closed for several hours on Friday after a three-truck collision, Free State police said.
Sergeant Mmako Maphiring said the three trucks collided in Montrose, 20km outside Harrismith at 07:00 and there was a diesel spillage.
He said the first truck had been travelling in the southbound lane heading towards Durban when it stopped in the left lane.
A second truck, carrying medicine, collided with it.
A third truck carrying yoghurt also struck it. The impact sent one of the trucks into the oncoming lane.
"Diesel spilled out of two trucks and traffic came to a standstill," Maphiring said.
"They are still busy cleaning up the rest of the spillage."
Maphiring said by midday the fast lane on the southbound freeway and two lanes on the northbound freeway had been opened to traffic.
One truck driver's leg was broken in the accident and the two other drivers were uninjured, police said.
Maphiring said the first truck was carrying a container and it was unclear what was inside or why the truck had stopped on the freeway.
