07/05/2008 10:47 - (SA)
Johannesburg - Police have offered a R250 000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of children who have gone missing and been found murdered in Modimolle, Limpopo.
Superintendent Ronel Otto said investigations were continuing, but it was difficult to speculate about any breakthrough.
Fifteen children, aged between four and 13, have gone missing in the past four years. Six have been found murdered in bushes.
Last month, a five-year-old girl, Mogadi Mafora, went missing. She was found dead two days later at Mandela section of the Phagameng township.
Police suspect there is a serial killer in the area, and have offered a R250 000 reward for information that could lead to an arrest and prosecution.
