  • SABC suspends group CEO

    • Johannesburg - The SABC board has announced the appointment of Amrit Manga as acting group executive of news and current affairs, SABC radio news reported on Thursday.

    Manga replaces Snuki Zikalala who was suspended on Tuesday afternoon.

    Dali Mpofu the SABC's CEO was suspended on Wednesday - a day after he suspended Zikalala.

    Commercial enterprises group executive Gabriel Mampone was appointed acting CEO to replace the suspended Mpofu.
