Johannesburg - Six men were arrested in Johannesburg for allegedly being in possession of stolen electronic goods worth R2m, police said on Thursday.
Spokesperson Julia Claasen said police raided an electronics shop on the corner of Plain and Wanderers Streets and recovered electronic equipment.
Claasen said among the goods were various brands of cellular phones and microwave ovens.
She said the goods discovered were different from what was on display in the shop.
Claasen said the owner of the shop failed to provide invoices or receipts for the goods.
Police suspect that the goods were stolen from warehouses in Gauteng.
