  • Johannesburg - A man was robbed by a four gunmen after he drew money from a bank in Pretoria West on Friday, Gauteng police said.

Captain Dumisani Ndlazi said the man, in his forties, withdrew about R4 000 on Friday and went to a Casbah roadhouse in Pretoria West.

There, four men held him at gunpoint and took the money he had withdrawn.

The robbers drove away from the scene. No shots were fired and no one was injured. A case of armed robbery was being investigated.

In an unrelated incident, a house owner saw two men carrying goods from his front yard in Lotus Gardens in Pretoria West at 06:00 on Friday.

He followed the men to an RDP house and found his stolen television, one of his blankets and two of his pots inside.

He reported a case of housebreaking to police who arrested two men, in their early thirties, on Friday.

The two would appear before the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Monday, said Ndlazi.
