Robbers shoot man 3 times

Pretoria - A man was in a stable condition in hospital on Friday after being shot by robbers at his house in Lynnwood, Pretoria police said.
Captain Colette Weilbach said the 28-year-old, who lives with his mother, was in a stable condition in hospital after four shots were fired at him.
The man awoke at about 04:40 to find two men with a flashlight in his room.
"They pointed a handgun at him. Apparently the man fought the suspects and they then fired four shots at him. He was hit by three (bullets)," said Weilbach.
Weilbach said it seemed as though the robbers gained entry into the house through a window that had no burglar bars.
The men fled on foot with only a cellphone.
"Brooklyn police are busy following up all leads and are investigating charges of armed robbery and attempted murder," she said.
