15 killed in head-on smash

Queenstown - Fifteen people, including two children, have been killed in an accident near Tarkastad in the Eastern Cape, police said on Monday.
Police spokesperson Inspector Zilungile Nkekamba said the accident happened on the road between Tarkastad and Cradock on Sunday evening.
A small vehicle and a taxi collided head-on.
All three occupants of the small vehicle were killed as were 12 people in the taxi, including two children and two women. Four others in the taxi survived with serious injuries.
They were taken to Queenstown Hospital.
Police were investigating a case of culpable homicide.
