Dad held six years after rape

Durban - A 59-year-old northern KwaZulu-Natal man has been arrested six years after allegedly raping his daughter, police said on Friday.
Captain Jabulani Mdletshe said the crime took place in 2002 but was only reported by the victim this year. Police in KwaMsane arrested her father on Thursday.
"She was 18 years old when she was raped for a period of a year. Her mother had died and the father had been taking care of her," said Mdletshe.
Police said in 2003 the victim had left home after obtaining a job elsewhere. The man was due to appear in court shortly.
