Hospital oxygen problem fixed

    Durban - The oxygen supply problem at Durban's Prince Mshiyeni Hospital has been rectified, the Daily News reported on Friday.

    "A team of experts... fixed the oxygen supply problem," KwaZulu-Natal Health department spokesperson Sebe Zwane was quoted as saying.

    Earlier this week, hospital staff detected a problem with the supply of oxygen and were forced to transport high-risk patients to other hospitals. The hospital's high care, casualty, nursery, intensive care and neonatal units were affected.

    Zwane said the experts found the problem in the oxygen distribution system.
