Johannesburg - Two people were killed and two others were injured when their car overturned near the Bronkhorstspruit offramp on Saturday, Johannesburg police said.
Spokesperson Johannes Japhta said the driver in his late 40s, was travelling from Witbank with his two sons, one of them aged six and his daughter when he lost control at the offramp around 11:00.
"It appears as though he lost control at a curve just before he could get to the offramp." Japhta said the car overturned and went into the bushes, killing the father and the elder son instantly.
"His daughter and 16-year-old son were taken to hospital with minor injuries."
They two have since been discharged. Police are investigating the incident, said Japhta.
