Woman killed by loose bus wheel

Lephalale - A woman died in hospital after a wheel came off a bus and hit her on Tuesday morning.
The 38-year-old woman was injured while walking on the side of the road in Stokpoort near Lephalale.
"The wheel came off and bounced straight at her," said Lephalale police sergeant Frans Mokoena on Wednesday.
He said both the woman's legs and her pelvis were broken.
She died at Ellisras hospital.
Police have opened a case of culpable homicide but have not made any arrests.
The woman's identify is being withheld as her family has not been informed of her death yet.
