Durban - Two Westville siblings and their co-accused will spend Christmas and New Year behind bars, the Pinetown Regional Court heard on Thursday.
Nicolette Lotter, 26, her younger brother Hardus, 20, and Matthew Naidoo, the woman's boyfriend, are accused of murdering the sibling's parents in their Westville home. The 53-year-old father was strangled and his wife stabbed to death on July 19.
At an earlier court appearance Naidoo was denied bail, while the siblings themselves had not yet applied for bail.
On Thursday the court heard that the case would be remanded to February 3 next year for further investigation.
The trio would remain in Westville prison until then.
