Woman held for jobs scam

Mthatha - A 25-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday for fraud after she allegedly took money from people whom she falsely promised jobs, Eastern Cape police said.
Captain Zamukulungisa Jozana said the woman promised the people jobs at the Department of Education.
"She promised to get them jobs as cleaners, clerks and supervisors for a fee."
The woman was charged with fraud and theft by false pretences and is expected to appear in the Mthatha Magistrate's Court soon.
