Johannesburg - A 45-year-old woman was arrested on Monday after five cars were stolen from two car rental companies, Gauteng police said.
Inspector Makgomo Semono said the woman rented five vehicles from two Midrand car companies and did not return them.
"She used a fraudulent passport and credit card to get the vehicles. She then handed all five vehicles over to a Nigerian man. The man was arrested on Friday," he said.
The woman is expected to appear in the Midrand Magistrate's Court soon on charges of motor vehicle theft and fraud.
