Johannesburg - For those who missed the first one, another voter registration weekend will be held next year on January 24 and 25, an Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) spokesperson said on Tuesday.

Mosotho Moepya, deputy chief electoral officer, said that all 17 000 voting stations would be open, just as on the November weekend.

Those who were not registered to vote in the 2004 national elections, or those whose residential addresses had changed, could go to their local voting station to update their details, said Moepya.
