    Johannesburg - The DA will on Monday present its plan to help deal with the electricity crisis in South Africa, the party said in a statement on Sunday.

    "The steps announced by Ministers Erwin and Sonjica on Friday do not go far enough, nor do they cover enough bases to ensure that the situation is adequately addressed."

    The DA said that its response would outline a number of detailed and innovative solutions which, "if properly implemented, would help ensure that the situation at least in the medium term is greatly improved."
