Cope prepares for Dec 16

Johannesburg - Members of the Congress of the People's (Cope) Ekurhuleni region met on Saturday to prepare for its national policy conference in December, the party said.
According to Cope's Smuts Ngonyama more than 500 members from the region turned up for the conference in Kempton Park to "discuss policy guidelines in preparation for our national conference on December 16".
"The Ekurhuleni regional summit is going very well," said Ngonyama speaking from the conference venue.
Cope, established by former defence minister and African National Congress chairperson Terror Lekota, his former deputy Mluleki George and former Gauteng premier Mbhazima Shilowa intends launching in Bloemfontein on December 16.
