ANC to launch election manifesto

Johannesburg - The African National Congress will launch its 2009 Election Manifesto this weekend, the party said on Tuesday.
ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe told a press briefing at Luthuli House in Johannesburg that the launch would be a big event.
The event will take place at the Absa Stadium in East London on Saturday.
Mantashe invited journalists to forward their accreditation applications to ANC spokesperson Jessie Duarte, before the big day.
