Black Caps drop Vincent

Wellington - The stop-start career of New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent was halted by another red flag on Friday when he was dropped from the squad for the one-day series against Sri Lanka.
Vincent struck a dismal run of form against South Africa and Australia recently, and will make way for Peter Fulton, who is returning from knee surgery.
Fulton has been scoring plenty of runs in New Zealand domestic cricket and New Zealand coach John Bracewell is hoping he can add some backbone to the faltering batting line-up.
"Peter has shown good form in the State Championship, and he has proved in the past he can translate a high standard of performance at domestic level to the international game," Bracewell said in a statement.
Star fast bowler Shane Bond and all-rounder James Franklin are still out through injury, leaving few options for New Zealand selectors in the bowling attack.
New Zealand play the first of three one-day internationals against Bangladesh in Auckland on December 26. The two sides will later play two Tests.
New Zealand squad:
Daniel Vettori (captain), Brendon McCullum, Jamie How, Peter Fulton, Scott Styris, Ross Taylor, Mathew Sinclair, Jacob Oram, Kyle Mills, Mark Gillespie, Chris Martin, Jeetan Patel.
