Johannesburg - The Dolphins scored an important six-wicket win over the Warriors on Sunday to lift themselves from near bottom to fifth place on the Standard Bank Pro20 Series log.
The Dolphins are now on nine points in the standings with two matches to play before the completion of the round-robin phase of the competition.
The KwaZulu-Natal team will clash with the Titans at Kingsmead in Durban on Wednesday before they finish off their programme against the Highveld Lions at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Friday.
The Dolphins captain, Ahmed Amla believes his team is not just focusing on making it to the last four, they have an ambition of taking the honours.
"Obviously, it was significant for us to win yesterday (Sunday) to stay in contention for the semi-finals. We are not just playing for that, we want to go further and win the competition. "
"The Titans are a good one-day side and we respect them as champions. We need to play well to beat them and have a realistic chance of making progress in the competition," concluded Amla.
The other match on Wednesday, sees the log pace-setters, the Cape Cobras coming up against Zimbabwe Chevrons at Newlands in Cape Town, after their match against the Highveld Lions was washed out at Boland Park in Paarl on Sunday.
The Cape side and the Highveld Lions earned two points each for a No Result match. The Cape Cobras have 15 points from four outings and need a win to consolidate their position for a home semi-final. The Chevrons, who are at the bottom of the log cannot be taken lightly, as they have already beaten the Cobras this season.
