Eagles cruise into Pro20 semis

Port Elizabeth - Seamer Dandre Coetzee took three wickets for 15 runs as the Eagles cruised to a comfortable 13-run victory over the Warriors in a Standard Bank Pro20 cricket match at St George's on Sunday.
Chasing 146 for victory, the Warriors finished on 132 for eight after Coetzee picked up the vital wickets of Arno Jacobs, Riaan Jeggels and Justin Kreusch. Jeggels top-scored for the Warriors with 43 off 39 deliveries with five fours and one six.
Earlier, allrounder Dillon du Preez smashed 40 runs off 22 balls at the death including two fours and four towering sixes to propel the visitors to 145 for five off their 20 overs.
The Warriors had done well to restrict the Eagles to 95 for five midway through th 16th over before Du Preez took the game by the scruff of the neck.
Loots Bosman (29) and Dean Elgar's (23) set the platform for Du Preez's assault.
Lonwabo Tsotsobe was the best of the homeside bowlers taking one for 12 in three overs. The other leftarm seamer Wayne Parnell was also economical while conceding 19 in his four overs while Johan Botha gave away 20 in his allotted overs and also picked up the important wicket of Morne van Wyk.
