Jaipur - The Rajasthan Royals' six-wicket win over the Kings XI Punjab in an IPL match in Jaipur on Monday was a tale of two Shanes.
Shane Warne took three for 19 to pin the Punjabis down to a total of of 165 for eight.
Then the Royals were guided to their reply of 168 for four, which they reached in 18.1 overs, by Shane Watson's 76 not out.
Yuvraj Singh top-scored for the Kings XI Punjab with 57, which he hit off 34 balls with six fours and three sixes.
The aggressive left-hander arrived at the crease in the eighth over with the total on 64 for three, and when James Hopes (16) was trapped in front by Warne nine balls later the Punjabis were 73 for four.
Yuvraj and Irfan Pathan (12) righted the innings with a stand of 63 off 47 balls for the fifth wicket.
But the run rate dwindled after Yuvraj was dismissed leg-before by Warne in the 17th over.
In reply, the Royals wobbled to 48 for three in the fifth over before Watson and Darren Lehmann (17) put on 51 for the fourth wicket.
Irfan Pathan ended the stand by trapping Lehmann in front in the 12th over, but Watson and Ravindra Jadeja (36 not out) took the Royals to their win without further drama with an unbroken partnership of 69.
