Nurburgring, Germany - Double world champion Fernando Alonso of Spain won the European Grand Prix here on Sunday.
The McLaren-Mercedes driver claimed his third victory of the season and the 18th of his career ahead of Brazilian Felipe Massa in a Ferrari and Australian Mark Webber of Red Bull-Renault.
