Port Elizabeth - The evergreen Corrie Sanders has no intention of leaving the boxing ring any time soon.
This is the view of his manager, Vernon Smith who says Sanders will come up against one of the ten best heavyweight boxers in the world in just over a month.
There were reports recently that the South African heavyweight has finally decided to hang up his gloves.
Smith said from Schwering in Germany that Sanders is not yet ready to retire.
Smith said: "We are settled and Corrie has started preparing for the fight.
"The promotion company Universum has organised some excellent sparring partners and Sanders will be trained by Michael Timm for this fight," Smith said.
Timm is one of the most well-known trainers in Germany and has also trained Vladimir Sidorenko, known as the White Tyson.
Smith said: "I am going to sign a contract for this fight in Hamburg within the next few days and the name of the opponent will then be released."
Sanders is now the tenth contender for the World Boxing Council's title.
Sanders may fight one of the following boxers - Oleg Maskaev (No 6 - WBC), Nicolay Valuev (No 9 World Boxing Association), Luan Krasniqi (No 7 World Boxing Organisation) or Timo Hoffman (No 10 WBO).
