Copenhagen - Tour de France champion Floyd Landis will not be taking part to Thursday's Grand Prix Jyske Bank race, the Danish organisers said in a statement.

The American rider also did not take part in Wednesday's Chaam criterium in the Netherlands, and, according to Dutch agency ANP, did not come because of medical advice though race officials have not confirmed this.

"It is with great regret that we announce Floyd Landis will not be appearing in the race," Danish organisers said.
