World records tumble in pool

Manchester - Kirsty Coventry of Zimbabwe and Felicity Galvez of Australia broke world records at the world short-course championships on Friday.
Coventry broke the 200m backstroke record by clocking two minutes 00:91 seconds to beat the 2:03:24 set by Reiko Nakamura of Japan in Tokyo in February.
Galvez set a world record in the 50m butterfly by finishing in 25:32s. Anna Kammerling of Sweden had set the previous mark of 25:33 in 2005.
