Haye told to prove himself

London - World champion Wladimir Klitschko told David Haye to prove himself before he would consider fighting him, after the Briton stormed a charity press
conference the Ukrainian was hosting on Saturday.
Haye is looking to move up to heavyweight after defeating compatriot Enzo Maccarinelli last month to become the undisputed cruiserweight champion and wants to fight Klitschko for the WBF and IBO heavyweight titles.
Klitschko, however, said Haye must wait his turn after he took over a press conference in London held to promote 'Fight for Peace', a boxing initiative for children.
"In the heavyweight division, you're nothing," said Klitschko, who has mandatory fights against American Tony Thompson and Russian Alexsander Povetkin to come in the next year.
"You have to prove yourself. Talk is cheap, and you have to deliver the service by getting in the ring, so just get in there and do your job.
"There are guys who have been waiting over a year to fight, so there's a line of people ahead of you."
Haye said he would emulate Evander Holyfield by stepping up from cruiserweight to dominate at heavyweight and told Klitschko, 32, not to shy away from the challenge.
"Why are you hiding? Don't hide," said Haye. "Bring the fight and take on the main man -- and that's me."
