London - England rugby coach Andy Robinson will soon be leaving his post, the BBC reported on Sunday, following their eighth defeat in their last nine matches.

England lost to South Africa 25-14 on Saturday for the third defeat of their four autumn internationals at Twickenham.

According to BBC Radio Five Live's Sportsweek programme, a "well-placed" source claimed Robinson would be asked to resign or be axed.

However following Saturday's loss, Robinson had insisted: "I'm not walking away from this."

Reigning world champions England are now just seventh in the IRB world rankings, having lost 13 of their 22 Tests under Robinson, with the World Cup just next year.
