Public doubt De Villiers

Cape Town - In a poll conducted on News24, a staggering percentage of voters have questioned the appointment of new Bok coach, Peter de Villiers.
Questioned whether De Villiers will be a good Bok coach, a mere 15% responded in the affirmative, while 25% said 'no'.
Sixty percent - or 5 658 of the 9 450 votes received - said 'only time will tell'.
In a similar poll on Sport24, 67% of users believed the naming of De Villiers as the Boks' first black coach was 'window dressing of the highest order' while only 13% said it was a 'step forward for SA rugby'.
The remaining 20% said De Villiers' two-year contract - which unless extended won't take him to the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand, was a bit of a cop-out by Saru.
De Villiers, 50, was a shock appointment last week to succeed Rugby World Cup-winning coach Jake White.
Former Bulls mentor Heyneke Meyer was the overwhelming favourite, among the players and fans.
De Villiers appointment has drawn sharp criticism from former Bok captain Corne Krige who has predicted 'seven lean years for the Boks'.
