Potchefstroom - Leopards rugby coach Chaka Willemse made two forced changes to his starting line-up for Saturday's Vodacom Cup rugby match against the Boland Kavaliers in Potchefstroom.

Right wing Warren Pietersen is injured and will be replaced by Randall April and at scrumhalf Theo van Wyk comes in for the injured Michael Bondesio.

Willemse sees the match as a big challenge. "The Kavaliers have a well-balanced side and we believe they will give us our first real test of the season.

"They should show exactly where we stand with our new squad," Willemse said.

The Leopards are always the dark horses in the competition and on their day they can compete with the very best.

The team is: Anvor Schooney, Randall April, Deon van Rensburg, Basil de Doncker, Jan van Zyl, Clayton Durandt, Theo van Wyk, Riaan Swanepoel, Jaco Bouwer, Andre Swanepoel, Draad Linde, Anthonie Gronum, Renier Harmse, Pellow van der Westhuizen, Divan Kotze.

Substitutes: Sydney Raaths, Dietlov Coetzee, Tynard Landman, Rudie Matthee, Chris Erasmus, WD Botha, Japie Nel.
